-
Pivot Music researches and curates music that fits the era, mood, and emotional needs of your film. We work closely with the director and editor to place every cue with intention—ensuring the music serves the story.
-
We handle the clearance process from start to finish—negotiating master and publishing licenses, securing sync rights for domestic and international distribution, and coordinating with labels, publishers, and estates. Every license is documented, tracked, and delivered with completed cue sheets ready for post-production.
-
Pivot Music identifies and recruits the right composer for your project, then collaborates closely with them throughout the process—from initial spotting sessions through recording. We help shape song arrangements and production to ensure the score aligns with the director's vision and the film’s overall tone.
-
For your film’s original theme or signature song, we source the songwriters and artists, oversee development from concept to final production, and manage all artist relations along the way. The result is original music that feels like a perfect fit for your film.
-
Pivot Music builds your music budget, monitors it in real time, and reports regularly to your producers. We negotiate favorable rates and find creative cost efficiencies without ever sacrificing the quality your film deserves.
-
Once the music is created, we help get it heard. From soundtrack album coordination to promotional placement, Pivot Music supports the distribution and marketing of your film’s music beyond the theater screen.
